  1. You guys did a great job! I like how you focused on all the positive attributes she had. I did not know she was in foster care starting at age six along with anything else from her early childhood. I agree that the picture of her in the white dress is the most iconic image of her! I thought your slides were clear and so was your thesis. You all spoke very clear and your topics were easy to understand. Great Job :)

  2. I'd have to agree with Natalie that it was wise of you to focus mostly on the positive aspects of Marilyn Monroe especially nowadays when it seems bashing her life style is a sport for some people. All the information about her childhood was very fascinating because it seems some idols only get remembered for a tiny span of their lives, much like child actors. All in all it was a very engaging presentation and a very funny video and this is coming from someone who does not particularly like Marilyn Monroe.

  3. You guys did a fantastic job on this presentation. I had no clue that she changed her name or never knew of her dad. That was pretty amazing to me that she got all of this fame, without any father figure in her life. That takes a very strong person. You guys were very organized with your presentation. I loved how you said all of your points right when you started. I knew what you were talking about the entire time. Awesome!

  4. I really liked your presentation it provide much information about Marilyn Monroe. I wasn't too familiar with her life story, so it was interesting to hear that part. That was so sad to hear that she had been in 10 foster homes in 11 years. In my Social Work class we study that and it isn't too uncommon for children to be placed in so many homes.
Your over all presentation went great. I really enjoyed the slides. They were all set up nicely. Great job!

  5. I was very intrested in your project because I only heard of all the broad things about Marilyn that is said in the media. She seemed to have a very difficult childhood and having to be in a new foster home basically every year. That would be so hard to do. Then again, she shows how anyone can perservere through anything and become an American icon. I really liked the video when she sang happy birthday to the President. That was funny. You all did a great job presenting and you had all your points though out and they were presented clearly and understandable. Great Job guys!
