  1. I learned that Louis Armstrong was quite a performer as well when playing his instrument. I never knew of the emotions he showed while playing, and it seemed like he was always hyped up. I thought everyone spoke well, and explained his iconic stature well.

  3. Louis Armstrong was indeed a talented trumpet player, especially in his time. The most important aspect however, was his ability to overcome racial-prejudice and advance his abilities and career. The video at the beginning of the presentation was a great way to start.

  13. I've heard Louis Armstrong's music many times and yet I never knew he used all those different facial expressions. It's great that he was able to break the race barrier and have some of the best jazz music in history.

  14. Probably the most entertaining voices I've ever heard(plus his facial expressions). It's cool that he wasn't segregated during the 1900s. The information shown was straight forward, to the point.

  16. I've always been a fan of Armstrong so I was quite impressed that you presented information I had never known about him! For instance the fact that he was one of the first musical performers to perform alone was truly fascinating. I also felt that you both spoke very fluently and effectively during your whole performance, arguably the best we heard today. The powerpoint was also excellently put together.

  17. I really like his style of music and found what you guys had to say very interesting. The fact that he was the first african american to be on radio that was broadcasted nationally I thought was very cool. Over all you guys did a good job on content and conformance.
